Air Transfer Fan

We have achieved excellent performance using our Metalizing Technology, by applying Sterling’s Tough Coat to the transfer fan wear areas (blades & Web). Our Tough Coat, once applied, has a textured surface similar to 80 grit sandpaper. After hours of use, our Tough Coat goes through a metamorphic transformation to a mirror like surface. Once this transformation occurs, our coatings surface is transformed to 70 RC in hardness, but the key benefit is the reduction of the co-efficiency of friction which results in extending the life of wear parts 3 to 6 times.

By extending the life of wear items, production costs per ton milled are substantially reduced.
